After watching these inspiring videos, the concept of “yet” really stood out to me. It’s about recognizing that even if you can’t do something now, with effort and the right mindset, you can get there eventually. This relates directly to adopting a growth mindset because it changes how I approach learning. Instead of seeing challenges as roadblocks, I’ll see them as opportunities to grow. It’s also evident that a growth mindset can positively impact how we accept feedback; instead of feeling threatened, we’ll view it as a chance to improve. Concerning grades, a growth mindset could certainly help shift the focus from just getting good grades to truly understanding and enjoying the learning process. To learn more, I’d explore additional articles and books on growth mindset. The graphic highlighting the differences between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset is a powerful reminder of where I want to be on this scale – leaning more towards the growth mindset side.

While searching the web, I came across an image that compares the Fixed Mindset to the Growth Mindset. It caught my attention, and I wanted to share it with you.
